A Message from Rev. Charles Tigard

With all my heart, I want to thank you for your faithfulness to our calling as Church of the Trinity MCC.

In 2016, we celebrated 35 years of ministry and renewed our commitment to the generations who will come after us.

Several years ago, one of our leaders commented, “What I love about Church of the Trinity is that we are always evolving.”

That openness and adaptability to change within a fast-moving culture positions us well for the future and growth. I have served MCC churches across the country, and I can honestly say that we are blessed with leaders and members who are open to listening to each other, to God’s Spirit, and giving our best toward shared goals.

Church of the Trinity is a unique kind of church- we should celebrate that more often!

Your commitment is key to all we do!

I often say that the strength of Church of the Trinity is our people. Joining our gifts together there is so much more God is calling us to in 2017.

• Register your pledge for 2017 if you have not already done so. More of our members and friends are using the convenience of easyTithe giving.

• Attend the important annual meeting, Saturday January 21st. Our meeting will begin at 5pm followed by a potluck dinner at 6pm. We will review the proposed 2017 budget, elect new members to the Board and positions of Lay Delegate, and approve our “Vision 20/20 Project”

• Be part of our growth this New Year through Sunday morning attendance and connecting with an outreach project, or spiritual growth group.

As we enter our 36th year of service, and my 7th year as your pastor, I want you to know that hearing from you is important to me and our leaders. My office is open to you to hear concerns to answer questions or to have conversation about how we are moving forward in this New Year.

Every day when I come to Church of the Trinity, I know how blessed I am to have the privilege of serving on this holy ground.

On behalf of every life touched through our ministry, I am grateful to you.

In Christ’s Service,

Rev. Charles Tigard
