The book, written by Ram Dass takes readers on a journey through the final decades of life and provides alternative choices for ways to live out those days. It encourages a spiritual journey for this portion of life. Please join Rev. Donna three Wednesdays in May, to discover and uncover ways to accept and prepare yourself via your soul, for the joy of where you and where you are going in this adventure we call life!

The books may be purchased on line.  See amazon.com or bn.com  The class is dedicated to the memory of Geoff Maul.

Support Group for Gay/Bi Men forming

A support group for gay and bi men of all ages is in  the process of getting started.  Issues facing gay/bi men that come from the men in the group will be shared and discussed.

Confidentiality is the key here.  This enables the men to be open with their issues.  The group is open to a membership of 10 men; there is no charge for the group.  The group will meet for 10 weeks.  Hopefully the group will begin sometime in March.

Rev Dr Don McGaw will facilitate the group.  It is essential to sign up for a pregroup interview with Don.  A sign up sheet will be available in the front of the church.  Please print your name and telephone number. If you wish more information regarding the group contact Don @ 941 586-1223; or if you prefer email:  briandonald34@msn.com

Young Adults Retreat

July 17-21, 2012 Dallas Texas

Led by young adults, this Young Adult gathering will be an experience of meeting and connecting with your peers, having spirited discussions, and working on strategies for empowering our young adults in their home churches and in MCCs around the world.   This retreat is intended for those 18-35 years in age.

We will spend time identifying who we are as young adults, working to serve others through a service project, discussing the future of MCC with MCC leadership, and taking time for Spiritual connection.  We will also focus on coming out of the retreat with a clear vision of what we, the young adults of MCC, see as our future.
