This has been a great study. All of our group have been very open about sharing. For some it has been a different way of looking at our part in our Holy Adventure called life. The end of the study could not have come at a better time as we were grieving over the loss of my cofacilitator Geoff Maul. This has been a great study for myself because it's the first time I have led a study. I want to thank all my group for signing up. Namaste'

Geoff in the Choir always brought a smile to my lips and laughter to my heart. His heart, mind, body, and spirit were just so present in all that he did. Thank you for sharing that exuberance!

It was an honor to be Geoff's pastor, towards the end of my time as pastor of Church of the Trinity MCC. . .Geoff was the real deal, someone with an open heart and mind. His struggles in life had refined him, and he allowed the Spirit to heal him, to heal his family, to use him in powerful ways. Less than a month ago, my Mom, Paula's Mom and I attended the Ash Wednesday service, where Geoff led us in a meditation. Love shone through him then. I will never forget his sermon, and his daughter singing at church. . .his pride, that Father's Day, was so clear . . .Geoff was also so proud to be in the very first LEAD cohort, MCC's new Lay Ministry training program. He never stopped growing and giving.

Geoff, you have been an inspiration to me since I first participated with you and David in Spirit Cafe. It has been an honor to share music ministry with you as well. I have always admired your strength and grace, and most of all, your enthusiasm and zeal for God and life. Your open heart and sweet spirit will always be with me. I will always think of you -- singing and dancing, laughing with childlike joy.....as I'm sure you are right now!!!

Although Mary and I did not know Geoff as well as many others, we were always struck by the aura he carried with him, in the Spirit Cafe, the choir and elsewhere, his voice always strong yet gentle. He presence will be missed but he is at peace now and watches over us, his magical voice now silent.

Thank you GEOFF for helping me find my spirit, My Great Spirit! I was lost for a long, long time and my heart was broken. You helped me find GOD in a way that I never imagine that I could. From your boisterous choir singing to your smiling face NO matter how your day is going, YOU were truly our guardian angel on earth. YOU were one of God’s greatest gifts to all of at Church of the Trinity AND the world! Thank you for the book& video studies, healing prayers, meditations. Thank you for encouraging all of us to grow spiritually. Thank you for sharing your awesome family with us especially your daughter, Hannah & her sweet voice.
I’m so happy that my life’s journey crossed paths with yours. Although I may not be able to physically hug you, I will be able to embrace your love forever. I wish you love, peace & comfort on your journey.
Namaste
Your friend forever, Colleen

Geoff and I first met each other when he sang in the Gulf Coast Mens Chorus (Deversity) with my son Tim. We were both parents of an adult child and would say hello. No Big Deal. Fast forward to 2007. Geoff was one of the first people I told that my Tim had died unexpectedly. From that point on we became close friends. We often laughed that we had been related in a former life and even addressed each other as such. He was my brother from another mother and I was his sista from anotha mista. I will cherish also the Friday afternoon lunches at Gulf Drive Cafe watching the waves and walking on the beach. As his illness pogressed I was honored to be his Hospice Volunteer and sharing talks about life and eternity. We have not"lost" Geoff. We know where he is. All those spiritual questions are being answered by the one who gave us life. We love you Geoff. "Namaste"

Geoff was an important person to me. I called him brother. Geoff's spirit is gonna be remembered in everything he did. Sickness did not hold him down till the end. The spirit in him kept him alive. Now Geoff can hang out with Tim again.
