Our Campus

Experience the beauty of our 24 acre campus.  Many find our grounds as a peaceful, welcoming, and life centering place.  You are invited to walk the labyrinth or meditation trails, use our chapel for private prayer, or simply bring a book and enjoy the afternoon.

Our campus is graced by majestic oak trees, palms, and tropical vegetation.   It’s not unusual to see a bald eagle perched on our cross, falcons or other wildlife on our grounds.   At Church of the Trinity we value the ways God’s creation connects us with the holy.

Our Vision for Growth

We are a growing congregation with a vision for the future. In 2004 under the leadership of Rev. Elder Nancy Wilson, Church of the Trinity purchased an additional 22 acres of land to the north of our original campus.

Our congregation envisioned becoming a community hub in and outside of LGBT circles. In 2006 we enlisted the services of award winning architect Carl Abbott to conceive a campus plan, incorporating the two parcels of land into a blueprint to accommodate growing programs and attendance.

The Master Plan and Preliminary Design for Church of the Trinity MCC is focused on nature- a large wetland forest in the heart of the 22 acre site.

Expressive shapes and large sweeping gestures form this contemporary Church complex. From the main thoroughfare the building will appear as a strong sculptural form nestled in the trees.

The Sanctuary has a symbolic triangular shaped plan and will seat 500 people. A dramatic triangular roof form opens to the view of the environment and to the sky. Through a large wall of glass views reveal sunlight filtered through palms, maples, and tropical vegetation.

The large courtyard on the edge of the wetland unifies the sanctuary, administrative and social halls. From the courtyard, a long boardwalk for meditative walks extends through the wetland to a small island retreat. The church complex reaches out and embraces the land.
